Smart Meter infrastructure is receiving a lot of focus in the UK with 24.4 million devices installed; only 43% of surveyed customers believe it has been worth it. What lessons can be learnt from a utility that has a 100% smart meter deployment and how has value been extracted from it for every customer.
Join Werner Bornman, Director of Technology for Jersey Electricity to explore how engineering, vision and dedication is empowering a society to the forefront of the carbon neutrality discussion. During the session we will be exploring what smart metering involves, what it enables for customers and utilities, and how it opens up multiple futures for energy management.
Werner moved to Jersey, from South Africa where he led the technology teams for a global Asset and Wealth Management business. He holds several global security, risk and governance qualifications and certifications and has a background in cybersecurity management.
If you wish to attend the lecture online bookings can be made via Eventbrite using this link. If you have any questions, please email email@example.com. Jersey will be holding a meal at the Pomme D’Or proceeding the event at 6.30pm for £22.50 which can be booked via the Eventbrite link. We hope to see you there in person!
